South Point?

Since it's going to be so hot i think we might just go ahead and get the car and take a nice cool ride and visit the casino's down that way. Thanks all.

As bizarre as that sounds, on reflection it could be true.

The Westcliff Airport Express runs from New York New York to Suncoast, with few stops downtown. It takes 40-45 minutes, but doesn't require a change, like the trip to South Point does.

South Point is the more dynamic casino these days, but I agree that Suncoast is as accessible by transit from the south strip at South Point is.

Some years ago we took the city bus system from Planet Hollwood (where we were staying at the time) to the SP. We has stayed at the then, South Coast when it first opened and this experience established a deep Love for this place.

FYI, do not find yourself at the South Strip Transfer Terminal any time during the night time as it's dimly lit and well secluded. There were lots of possible homeless and/or shady characters about when we found ourselves stranded waiting for a transfer bus. You must go through the South Strip Transfer Terminal to catch the bus that goes to the SP.

Similar to others, I would take the Casino shuttle out to SP and forget about the bus unless you have lots of time and enjoy a diverse cultural experience.

We always rent a car when going to Vegas so that we can visit a new Casino each day we are on vacation.

Ummmm.....re: South Point vs. Orleans.....much better boobelage at the SP.

Good VP and eats at SP. It's worth the trip if you've never been. Rent a car, though - and as long as you have the car, go check out M as well.
