Table games prices

What kind of table games prices should we expect when we visit LV on July 2-6?

Will downtown be the better place to search for $5 tables?

thanks

The lowest minimum tables will be downtown and at the satellite casinos.  I would guess that you might see $5 tables on the strip, but I've not been there during this time.

It will be interesting to hear about any changes once someone has visited the "new" Vegas.  In the past the Strip casinos generally had a $25 hand minimum to get 3-2 blackjack.  Downtown and local casinos had $5-10 minimums, although I noticed on my visit last December that Downtown was moving towards 6-5 on the $5 tables.

i think the new rules only allow 3 players per table.  I fear that will mean the end of $5 tables and with more hands per hour your expected loss for basic strategy will increase.  Only time will tell.

We hit Biloxi, Missississippi when they first opened 3 weeks ago.  Most casinos were $15 minimum, some even $25 per hand.

We hopped around places until we found a 'locals' casino called Treasure Bay and played $5 BJ, $5 Mississippi Stud and $10 craps with 3 per table or side of craps.

I think Four Queens and Ballys type places will be a good spot for cheaper tables when we arrive in early July.

Checked out all three that just re-opened in North Kansas City.  Three seats to a table, players cards are dealt face up from shoe, $15 and $25 minimums with nothing lower.

I personally found my online casino a long time ago.
