Task completed now on to Las Vegas

Believe it or not one time I went to Las Vegas twice a year for over 8 years. In 2006 I decided to change my priorities and work on marriage equality in New York. It happened and the momentum continues to build across America.

In any case...my wife and I are planning a trip in December (finally!) - I'll have to re-up all my cards, I've ordered my coupons and we are getting psyched! What ONE thing has changed in the last 6 years that I need to know about?!!

I feel like I'm back home with long lost relatives...

They have gambling now! oh wait, they had that 6 years ago...City Center is is biggest change.its fun to explore, that and Resort fees, yuck. other wise its still about the same, great shows. great food. great fun!!!!

I can't remember timelines, but it seems to me that one good change is the new car rental facility which is easy to get to via shuttle and makes it easy to return your vehicle.

One bad thing that you will notice is before you arrive, is the proliferation of resort fees. Please be aware of them when choosing your hotel, since the fees are as much as the nightly rate in some cases when specials are running.

The Cosmopolitan Hotel Casino (Strip) is new. Something to see for sure.

The sidewalks from Caesars/Bellagio/etc. north to Wynn/Encore etc. are a much more pleasant walk now (both sides) I think there is still some bottlenecking around Casino Royale, but overall it is much nicer. Also nicer walking South to MB etc., after they cleaned up the construction areas in front of City Center and Cosmo.

All you have to do to get cards (the ones you previously had) is show your DL. Accounts pretty much don't expire for decades, if then...LOL.
