They're sending the limo. . . . .

So I make the booking with the host at the Mirage and he says:
Let me know what flight you'll be arriving on--I'll send the limo.
Me (trying to act like they ALWAYS send the limo): Oh,
that would be nice--I'll give you a call before we leave.
OK--so now how much do you tip a limo driver from the
airport to the Mirage?
I was thinking $20. . . . sound about right?

that's just OK as a tip.
It killed me but that is what I tipped 10 years ago (Sunset to Bellagio/GVR to an AA meeting/ and GVR to Caesars)
Thats what I would tip but I think high rollers tip more. I hope he's on time and waiting for you with the sign.
PS- I would want the sign as a sovoinger (SP?) LOL

Just my humble opinion but...... "IF" the limo driver is on time at the airport (with a sign), carries your luggage for you to the limo, loads it for you "and" unloads it again when you get to the Mirage, opens the limo doors for you "AND" has a good personality and can answer any local Vegas questions,
yes, $20 would be fine............ After all, this can all be done in less than an hour(and he/she is already getting paid)

Its not like a cocktail waitress or a food server that you are looking for good service in the future, chances are you will never see this particular driver again, so giving him a $50 would probably be a waste.

Of coarse your personal status also comes in to play. If your Bill Gates, then you should probably pop for a few bucks more.

$20 seems to be the standard tip, for a couple.
You should feel comfortable with that.

We travel from Philly and usually stay 5-6 nights.Typically we have way too much luggage(heavy bags) so I usually give $30-$40.
Like Noahcat I tipped $20 ten years ago.
