things to do in vegas for a month

if you were planning on staying in vegas for 30 days, what would you have on your "to do list"? besides gambling, golf, shows.
Depends on the time of year. If the weather is good and you have a car I would definitely go to the Grand Canyon, Valley of Fire, Red Rock Canyon, Hoover Dam, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Oatman, Arizona and Death Valley. People think of Vegas as a destination, but it is a stepping off point for many Natural Wonders close by. You also have a number of racing options down by the Speedway which include Dune Buggy riding, racing a Lambergini or Ferrari, etc. If you are into weaponry, there are numerous options for firing semi-automatic and machine guns. You can book an evening cruise on Lake Mead or helicopter over (or into) the Grand Canyon. There are daily hot air balloon rides that lift off around dawn.

I often (loosely) structure my day around the MRB or other coupons. it's a great place to start anyway.

I would eat my way through the 50 essential Las Vegas restaurants, or at least the places I could afford. Maybe I would finally make it to Lotus of Siam like I keep promising myself year after year.
Go to the Pinball Hall Of Fame!

And as for some of the activities that Las Vegas Larry the Limo Driver mentioned that you could participate in, there may very well be discounts offered for them in LV Freebie magazines and elsewhere, so check into that!

Skydiving is something else that you can do in LV if you so desire. Discounts for that can also be available.

There are also Museums and Exhibits to see, plus all of the Freebie stuff to visit.

You could also take your time and check out each casino or maybe make use of as many of the coupons in the MRB (as was earlier mentioned) and/or ACG.

Also there is shopping, Zip Lining and then there also could be more mundane things to do but you could still do them because you have the time to do them (such as Bowling or seeing a Movie).

Oh my dream. I would love to go to Vegas for a month in the winter time. Just to escape the snow.
I would investigate all the small casinos in Henderson. Many serve free food for your play, and offer liberal comps and gifts. I would see Valley of fire and Bryce canyon. (i have visited Red Rock and the Grand Canyon many times in the past). I would like to visit Oatman AZ and see the burros. I would investigate the neighborhoods in the Vegas area, to see what they look like. I once drove through some area past downtown by mistake, and found many many homeless people sitting on side walks in a residential area, using an old sheet hanging from a fence to give them shade. I would like to take a boat cruise on Lake Mead. When I go to Vegas I always spend a week, and I never run out of things to do.
well we did a month last year mid august to mid sept. drove out there. found a home that had a attachment, one bed, one bath, back yard for our dog and rented for a month. was a great time. walked our dog everyday early in the morning, because it was hot later.
spent alot of time hitting the senior promos.
going to do it again next month. same place.
Do the Diners, DriveIn, and Dives tour....and the Bar Rescue tour. many vegas establishments have been on both shows. Its a great way to familiarize yourself with vegas neighborhoods
