I will likely be up all night getting ready to board my non-stop flight to Vegas tomorrow morning for a very nice and long trip. Is anyone else this nuts when it comes planning for Vegas???
I can't believe I still have so much to do planning-wise. I WILL do carry-on only but still have too much stuff, so I am now trying to be BRUTAL with taking things out of my bag as the packing experts and many of you have said one must do the day before one departs for Mecca. I know I can do this. I just have to be strong. . I know I will thank myself when I'm pulling my luggage down the strip in 100+ degree heat, etc. It is chic to pack light too.
This morning, I spent, unexpectedly, SIX and ONE-HALF HOURS with my dad at the VA. He's fine but has a bunch of ailments though thank goodness nothing life threatening. The staff at the VA were great, ran lots of last-minute tests, etc. But, well, I was supposed to be doing work all day, which I still have to do before I leave, and still pack, and still work on promos, etc., so it's going to be a long night.
But, did I tell you??? I AM GOING TO VEGAS TOMORROW MORNING ON A NON-STOP FLIGHT and with a Southwest Boarding Pass Number of my dreams -- thanks to my new SW A-List status -- to boot! (I did, however, also spend $10 on an early bird purchase. When it comes to Vegas, it's hard to plan too much. )
Talk to 'ya soon and many, many thanks to my fellow LVAers who were so gracious in helping me plan and in answering all of my questions. (I still plan to post my August promo list at some point before I head to the airport.)
May the force be with you and many thanks again!
