Tier Inflation

I am a midrange gold card holder. First Total Rewards gifted me with 400 tier points (Sis got 800) to "help" me on my way to platinum and now they tell me I can get to platinum just by opening a Ceasars credit card. Just wondering how many others are getting these incentives to move on up, and if it is happening to other levels of play as well. I will probably be able to make platinum level on my own by playing on multiplier days and will not take the bait of the credit card. Sounds like they are taking a sneaky approach to move us lower level players up the gambling ladder.

Hubby got a bump 2 weeks ago to help get him to diamond. He got 3200 tier credits. I just got to diamond one our trip last month. I have another trip this year so I'll just play on his card to try and get him to the next level. I was bummed that I never got a bump.

I made Diamond again back in April and was bumped up a week ago by 8,100 pts.

They gave me 3,000 points to "help" me reach diamond a couple weeks ago. Now if they did that a few more times it might actually happen.

They gave me 7300 tier credits to try to entice me to play more to reach the diamond aspirations level 2 tier, but all you get at that level is 4 free nights that I can get anyway, so it's a waste.

Looking for trends here. For those of you who have been gifted bonus tier points, did you have trips planned in the system. (Wondering if you didn't if they are enticing you to return when you might not have otherwise.) Also have you earned bonus tiers through your play and then received bonus tiers on top of that.

Wife and I both got a bump. We already have 2 trips on the books for later this year so we would already have been going without the enticement.

Friedmush, our trip was 9/13-9/16, I made diamond on 9/14. Hubby got email about a week after we got home, and it said something about his TC balance on 9/10 and they were adding the 3200 TC's. We knew how many TC's he had at the end of the trip and it was in the 7000 range. He checked his account the next day and he had over 10,000 TC's. I'm going in Nov. with my sisters but didn't haves anything booked at the time.

I get nuthin'. They know me too well.
