To Move A Couple of Times or To Stay?

I love a great deal and my trips to Vegas are no exception. Historically I am totally cool -- actually sometimes enjoy -- moving a couple of times during a weeklong trip for comped rooms and promos, in part for the different experiences during a long trip and in part to help get a bit of an edge by taking advantage of promos.

I have that option again during my upcoming trip with the bulk (if not all) of my stay being at Bally's but I have offers for two comped nights at the Cosmo with a bit of FSP, two nights at the Suncoast (never stayed there but played there a lot one day 3 years ago and have been getting 2 comped nights and a $35 MP or FSP ever since), and 3 at Red Rock ($50 FSP with chance to earn more) and Palace Station (no FSP).

Right now, however, I have booked 10 straight nights at Bally's in a premium view room in the Bally's Jubilee Tower. Five nights are comped and the other five nights I have good rates that range from $21 to $56/night, for a total of about $165 for the five nights for which I have to pay though I am hoping (and expecting) that at the end of my stay based on my play those nights would be comped. Having a continuous Bally's stay means, however, that I won't be able to take advantage of a second CET promo during the latter part of my say. It's not a huge deal but it's $50 in FSP with three comped nights. So, if I broke up the trip and stayed elsewhere for 2 nights in the middle of my stay I'd use that offer and would likely not have to pay for any nights during my trip.

I really like the idea of one continuous 10-day stay at Bally's though it would cost me potentially $165 + the unused promos at Red Rock and Suncoast that I won't consider as it is too much of a hike out there for me for $50 and $35 FSP respectively and given the fact that I am believer in playing where you redeem offers. I would, however, double book the Cosmo promo for a two-night comped stay and $100 in FSP as it is just across two street and I would expect to give Cosmo some play in keeping with the offer.

Right now I am on the fence. What would you do?

Thanks for any comments. Vegas, just a few weeks away and counting!

UPDATE: Okay, so I couldn't resist the Cosmo promo and basically weighed not moving with really enjoying a couple of nights at the Cosmopolitan, which has rooms I really enjoy, especially given that I'll have a Terrace Studio overlooking the fountains.

Called the Cosmo, booked the two nights, and then called CET. I'm on the phone with them now and the guy is doing his thing. As always, phone customer service at CET is great. I explained what I wanted to do and he understood. So I have now 5 comped nights in a Bally's Jubilee Premium Room, then 2 comped nights at Cosmo, and then my final 3 nights comped back in a Bally's Jubilee Room with the second offer that also gives me $50 FSP. Interestingly, the second CET offer, called "Blossom into Spring" just came in my email about a week ago but it does NOT yet show up on my online account so check your emails folks for offers! Something tells me that weekend is a slower one in LV (it's the weekend after Easter) so marketing added this promo later than usual.

Bottom line is that I'm moving but saved the $165 not having to pay for any rooms + I'm getting the $50 in FSP for the second offer.
Stay!!
LOL. Our posts crossed!!!! I changed but the CET guy basically said when I get to the hotel to check in just ask for the cheap rates for the two nights in the middle and they can connect the reservation. (He basically said we'd rather not have you move . . . . Make sense to me!) I did that before about a year ago. For some reason they can't do in advance but can do in person between two comped offers.
I like to move around and stay at other casinos. I get bored in the same hotel after a few days. I would stay at Cosmo free is free and I am wanting to try those terrace rooms.

Either way have fun and win big.

BAsically, I can't handle staying at one place for more than 3 nights. By then I've played all their good machines several times over and put thru a good amount of money. There are always plenty of offers, so I take advantage of as many of them as I can.
Thanks LIG! My plan is to indeed have a lots of fun and win BIG!

Yes, I was thinking I might get a bit antsy as well. One of the benefits of the Cosmo is not only the hotel and rooms but that moving there isn't much of a hassle. I've done it a few times and it's just across the way from Bally's. It's not a big hike.
We will often double book for a couple of nights. About every other trip actually. Did that recently to see what the cosmo was like. We just take an overnite bag with toiletries, change of clothes and bar.
Captain, I'm with you re: the offers and now that I've made my decision it feels right.

Sandy Paws, I've done the same thing as well re: double booking. Difference here was completely moving to save money so that I could have the 2 nights in between offers. But, I may wind up doing what you said. I'll wind up playing it by ear. I'll check my 3rd or 4th day in at Bally's and if I don't feel like moving I'll see what the rates are for the two nights. If they are under $25/night I'll probably just book and work to have the $50 comped off at the end and still might crash a night at Cosmo but not trek everything across the street.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts.
Looks like most don't agree with me but I usually stay in one place.
My normal trip from Philly is 5 days and once I unpack I don't like to see my luggage until I'm heading back to the airport.
Tried it a couple times and ended up wasting half the day.
I use to move but a couple years ago I had booked 3 night comp at Bellagio and was getting ready to book 4 nights, 2 at Paris and 2 at Cosmo, comped to finish out the week and my wife mentioned that she really didn't like moving so I emailed a slot host from Bellagio and told him my plans and asked what rate I could get for the additional nights and to my surprise he said he would comp all 7 nights. I was shocked but it makes sense. they know your going to be in town for a week why not keep you at their property to spend and gamble more..
