To Move A Couple of Times or To Stay?

I don't mind moving from casino hotel to casino hotel if the rooms are comped (and it often has happened where I will get an offer for 2 nights at one place and 2 nights at another place), but if I get an offer for 4 nights (which is about the most nights that I will stay in LV) in one place, I actually prefer that.

I do have to say though that moving from place to place does allow me to have different experiences in each place.

As long as you don't mind moving,by all means move. After all, free rooms and free play make it worth your while.Have a good time.
I usually do not mind changing to take advantage of comped rooms, but I will only move once. We generally stay 7 nights, and many times we are comped 3 nights at each place, so I usually pay for one night. This time, we are able to move once - from Orleans to Gold Coast, and get all 7 nights comped, so I am happy.

We will be there the weekend after Easter as well, We fly out 4/21 and back 4/28.
I like to move, but preferably only once.

So, I'm doing spring cleaning (love returning home from vacation to a clean apartment) and packing for the trip and starting to think more about unpacking ONCE and packing up to head home once. So, I called Bally's and as a back up got the casino rate for the two nights I was going to be at Cosmo. Not as good as the other rates I received before -- $80/night so $160 + tax -- but I'm thinking the host will wind up picking it up anyway. The person with whom I spoke said that often happens.

I will still give Cosmo some play for two nights (I'm going to keep the room double booked because that's the only way I can get my FSP there) as I don't want to stiff Cosmo but now I really like even more the idea of not moving.

I'll let you know what I ultimately decide to do.

Thanks for the comments and advice.

Vegas. Four days and counting!
Whatever you decide, have a great and safe trip and good luck.
I normally take the comps and move from casino to casino as I don't mind packing up and rechecking in as I always rent a car. When I go 7-10 days I only pack for 4 or 5 and do laundry at the halfway point at a Laundromat near the Palms. That not only allows me to pack just one suitcase but gives me an hour to kick back to go over coupons and other things to see what I haven't done yet and would like to still do.

This June when I'm there for 8 nights that's my plan and I'm sticking to it!!!
Have a safe, fun and profitable trip!

And so as I said earlier, when I come to LV, I very often stay for four nights but if I had my choice between having 2 nights at 2 different places or 4 nights in the same place (assuming that I do not have additional promotions attached -- such as Freeplay), I'd definitely prefer having the 4 nights in the same place. It also would save me the time for packing up, moving and unpacking again.

Thanks bbking, route66 and recvpplayer for your good wishes. Really appreciate it. I am so excited about this trip and so ready for a break I almost can't take it!

Route 66, that sounds like a great plan you have there! I know what you mean about mid-trip doing an assessment and seeing what you'd like to do the second half, doing some re-calibrating, etc. It's kind of like having two trips in one.

I've done -- for me -- a pretty good job at packing but tonight I'm removing more clothes from my suitcase. I'm down to one bag but I want to lighten it up even more! It'll be low 90s for my entire trip so no heavy clothes needed. I really want to see if I can pack in a light and chic way this time. It'll be a first for me! LOL.
One (OK, maybe two) pair of shoes that works with everything is the holy grail of light packing.

I leave favorite outfits at home if they don't work with my black Nike flats or my khaki sandals. Clothes: black, white, khaki mix and match, a few accessories for color, done.

I'll splurge a few dollars on laundry service, if needed. They all do a good job.
