Trials and tribulations of a Vegas Limo Driver

Just finished working 12 hour days with the Magic convention (Men's apparel) in town and now they give me this lousy assignment. For the next three days, I'm working a 12 hour shift driving a new SUV provided by Lexus and I have to take the Sports Illustrated Swim Suit Models around town. "The horror, the horror"

Happy Larry (Limo Driver) from Las Vegas

Uh, we will expect a trip-I mean job report (with pictures) as soon as posible!

You poor bastard!

In this instance, I would commend you as a fine driver, if you were to long haul them!!!!!

Wow, the things that you have to do for your job, Happy Larry!

What a terrible punishment you got!
I feel very sorry for you!;-)

Thanks for that Larry.
Last year when I did this we brought them to different spots around town for day events like a show at the Fashion Show Mall and a street naming event with Mayor Goodman. So far this year all I've done is take them from their hotel to an all night party at Haze. I believe that they are doing the same thing tonight. On the other hand, last year we used the company SUVs, but this year the event is sponsored by Lexus, so we received brand new Lexus SUVs to drive. The one I'm using had 5 miles on it when I got in yesterday. It's keyless (you just keep the key in your pocket and press the start button while having your foot on the brake), has GPS, Sirius Radio, and it must have onboard WIFI because I was able to get the internet on my IPAD while I was in the vehicle.

But I'm sure that your not interested in the vehicle. It was supplied with three copies of the Swimsuit issue so I can make comparisons and all I can say is "Airbrushing" is an amazing technology.

So, 12 hours mostly just sitting in an SUV, I was able to finish my downloaded Betty White book on my IPAD and get halfway through my book about Steve Jobs. Can't complain since I'm getting paid to sit and catch up on my reading.

Isn't the cover girl 18 years old? I saw her face on a Pay Phone Booth (yes we still have some) this morning.
Lucky Larry gets the good gigs!
I want to know if they know to tip-- I'll bet they don't even think of it. Do they have a (ahem) ..handler?
Your employer doesn't pay you to do this, do they? I'd feel guilty taklng a paycheck for that job. I'd also be begging for overtime.
Oh the humanity...... the humanity!!!!!
