If you want more information about Zzyzx, Huell Howser (who also did a 1 hour show about a "Kinder, Gentler Las Vegas" -- which includes visits to the Las Vegas Sign, The Old Las Vegas Moromon Fort State Historic Park, the Atomic Testing Museum, and Springs Preserve) did a show about the place. I thought both shows were quite decent!
