Value?

What do you all find valuable in your stay?

I am a long time Las Vegas Hilton guy and now that it is LVH I am lucky to have contacts there that make it worth the stay still.

What is valuable to you? The room rate? The amenities? The ease of Food Comps? Location? How do you make your decision on where you stay?

In order:

1) The availabiltity of the quarter video poker games I play. The only game under 100% I play is 9/6 Jacks. All the other games I play are over 100%.

2) Ease of room offers.

3) Whether I will stay at a particular hotel. I won't stay in a dump just because it has free rooms and good video poker. I also don't like huge crowds at check-in and check-out and in lines for a buffet.

4) Decent food comps.

5) Whether there is a free shuttle to another casino in the group or to downtown and the Strip.

My main places are Boyd group, Stations and Palms.

Thanks for that! I prefer Boyd for Gaming. I got locked into LVH with my Diamond Hilton Status.

At LVH I stay three nights and I get $32 a night....5 comped buffets...comped internet and comped fitness.

At the Orleans or GC I get tow free nights and the rest is up to the Host. I play most at the Coast's....tough call!

1. Still like mid Strip despite the chaos
2. Friendly personnel who remember us and make us feel like family.
3. Decent eateries, nothing fancy
4. Machines that seem to do good for me at least 60% of time
5. Favorite dealers, as in #2
6. Ease of check in, rooms to my liking.

1. Offers. CET has given me some good ones over the years, especially considering I'm nowhere near a high roller.
2. Hotel cleanliness/hospitality/service. I don't need spotless, shimmering gold plated bathroom fixtures, but no weird smells, peeling wallpaper, slow bell staff. Yeah, I'm looking at you, Excaliber.
3. Food/comps are somewhat important, but not killer. I generally look for places that have a nice range of options, from greasy pizza to a perfect medium rare filet. I can always walk, because...
4. Location isn't that important to me, probably because I enjoy walking the strip and casino hopping. Not to mention the monorail, downtown express, and cabs do a good job of getting me where I want to go.

As always, your mileage may vary. Those are mine, but everyone has different priorities.

I'm not particularly loyal to one hotel or group of hotels. I like to explore the city so I typically will try a new place with each trip...at least for a few days.

Things that make me a repeat hotel guest:
- Good water pressure in the shower
- Comfortable Beds
- Good room deals...free meal vouchers, gameplay, etc...

Down with that pjstroh...you give me food vouchers and wifi......I will gamble my but off!
