Vegas Over July 4th

We will be in Vegas over July 4th. We are staying at the Flamingo. Any advice of a good place to view the fireworks along the strip? Thanks!

I was there last 4th of July, no fireworks on the strip. Lots of fireworks in the outlying areas like Lake Las Vegas

I'm surprised to hear that I thought that would be a big deal along the strip. I think I did hear Caesars usually has theirs on the weekend to celebrate the holiday. Just glad to be there with or with a fireworks show.

Caesars did have fireworks last year, but not on the 4th. They had their display on Saturday, July 7, 2012. A number of local casinos including Red Rock did have displays on the 4th. If you are staying at the Flamingo, you may want to consider going to the observation deck of the Eiffel tower around 9 PM or any of the roof levels of the parking garages on the strip and you will be able to see the outlying displays.

Thank You Larry. We will probably do just that... head to the upper level of the parking garage. The Eiffel tower would be great but i'm sure everyone else will head there too.
