Vegas tipping drops drastically as visitors say service doesn't match higher costs

Sounds like somebody trying to justify the $1 tip they left for a $25 dinner.

I knew that you would (1)- be unable to fathom what was said, and (2) would have a smart assed comment to post - and you delivered thusly.

In my youth I was cocktail wattress.I worked mostly tips.I can't imagine getting a comp drink and not tipping minimum $1.

I "fathom" it. Whenever people like you complain about something that doesn't affect them in the slightest, it's very often a backhanded attempt to self-excuse their own behavior.

I don't, however, care about whatever happened to you in Vegas that made you start this thread and post idiotic nonsense like the cocktail server who supposedly only gets tipped ten cents per drink.
