Vegas4Visitors Top 10 Awards: The Best of 2011

Best of 2011
Gold Coast in top 10 of buffets-unbelievable
I agree with the Top 5 Best hotels, but then 6-10, there's a serious omission:

Venetian/Palazzo didn't make the Best Hotel list, but Plaza came in #6?

Are they freakin' kidding?
I agree the Venetian should be there.

Was at the Cosmopolitan last month and the wifi was not free.

No Wicked Spoon??

Some of my reaction:
Hash House a Go Go in restaurants? I liked my meal there, but it was more quantity than quality. And N'cat's wasn't prepared as she requested.

I'm surprised by the "fantasic" review of Sugar Factory.

I'll have to try Lola's on my next visit.

KGB, really a great burger place? What is it with burger places these days? A new one opening at Excalibur. Paying $15 for a burger has become the rage. I'll stick to In-N-Out.

Nice to see Pinball Hall of Fame as #1 attraction. It's a great little place.
I'd place the Gun Store above the Dolphin Habitat. Or even the Shark Reef.

The worst call: Harrah's as the #2 casino because "I win here more than anywhere else".

Thats also quantity over quality too.

Isn't this Top 10 according to A columnist? One dude? Don't think that holds too much weight,
but its fun reading opinions.......

One visit certainly doesn't qualify me as an HH-a-GG expert, but I too was a bit surprised it scored as high as it did here.

Had a specialty burger that was big as a bucket, but I would have to say it tasted about average. Nothing to rock your burger world.

Tammy had a meatload sandwich with topping oozing out all over. For her, it was "too much" sandwich to handle in the manner she usually eats a sandwich! Not sure if I explained that all that well, but she wasn't impressed by size - - at least not in this case!

Anyway - yes - huge portions but average quality I would say. Perhaps a second go-round, a breakfast entree or a visit to another location (this was at the Plaza) might change my thoughts a bit.
Rick Garmen opened up the voting for the Vegas4Visitors awards on its facebook page and there were very few votes. I am just surprised that Pizza Hut and Taco Bell didn't come out #1 and #2.
