Visited Gold & Silver Pawn Shop

Knew that the main guys (The Old Man, Rick, Cory and Chumlee) wouldn't be there but wanted to check out the store. Hit it at the right time (somewhere between 10 - 11 am) cuz there was no line to get in, but there was one when we left.

It was fun to check out all the stuff in the shop. One of the coolest items, for me anyway, was a torch from the 3rd season of Survivor. It didn't say who's it was though. Price tag was around $7,000 if I remember correctly.

They have a lot of souvenier items cuz of the show. I bought a tshirt but they were out of most of the men's sizes so hubby didn't get one. Also bought a refrig magnet.

Enjoyed our visit there.
Thanks for the report.
I would think that souvenier items make a lot of sales for them.
They should see to it that they never run out of any size T-Shirt, as it's probably their biggest souvenier seller.

...... and $7,000 for "a torch from the 3rd season of Survivor". That's crazy.
For that money you could probably buy something really cool that was once owned buy a celebrity,
say a piece of jewelry that Frank Sinatra or Elvis owned.
Who want's a F'n Survivor Torch anyway ???

Rick
My wife and I went in to the shop last year. We waited about 30-40min to get in. We didn't buy anything (to expensive). But we did see Rick in the distance at the counter talking to Mark(the museum history guy). The camera guy was filming them. Thought that was neat.
For $7,000.00 you could probably buy the person who was carrying the torch - just sayin'

Hey Now!
are they open 24/7?
I tend to lurk about on EDT, so I'm out a bit after sunrise..
They are open 24/7, but not the store. Overnight only the walk-up window is open.

Larry from Las Vegas ,NV
We went last Thurs. Same thing, no line so got right in. We each bought a t shirt and bought my wife some ear rings.
A year ago sept 2011 I went at 9 am the whole gang was there except Chumlee who was feeding face at corner Taco wagon so it was possible to see all the stars.
Visited the Pawn shop about 4:30 in the afternoon Tuesday the 4th.. No line but was busy inside. Husband(Mark) got a picture with the history museum guy Mark.
