visiting in October

Staying at the Aria October 13-17. Is it usually still warm enough to use the pools at this time of year?
Yes and no. You might want to check with the Aria to see if the pool will even be open. Have fun! We love Vegas in October.
That would depend on what temperature do you consider to be "warm" enough (since the terms "warm" and "cold" are relative to the climate that you are used to).

I don't remember what the average highs and lows are at that time of year (the highs at that time of year might be between the 60's to 80's), but you can check that out online (I think through the LVA Website there is a Weather link).

But yes, do definitely check into whether the pools will still be open at that time (maybe even through the LVA Pools link) since at least some if not most pools can be closed for several months.

thanks, we're floridians so we are used to warm weather, but if the pool is heated it will certainly help.

I'm now seeing the new issue of the LVA (for September 2012) and in the Weather section of the Advance Planner section, that says that for October weather, that there is a Mean Temperature of 67 Degrees, with an Average Maximum Temperature of 81 Degrees and an Average Minimum Temperature of 53 Degrees.

The description says: Pools: Open, Balmy days, cool evenings toward the end of the month.

And as for attire, the LVA suggests: Short sleeves durng the day, light jacket for evenings.
I hope that this helps you, but again, do check out the Weather Channel website for the forecast before you go.

We love Vegas in October, and will be there 10/6 - 10/13. Weather is perfect, days in the 80s, not too hot and pools usually still open. Have a safe and wonderful trip!!
I have used the Pools in Las Vegas Up to November 4th,
From weather.com, the avg high for Oct 13 is 82, and it is 80 on Oct 17.

A bigger issue may be the longer shadows in mid October, which make some of the seating areas around the pools, and the pools themselves more shady and cooler than the temperature would suggest. The Venetian is one that this is a big factor. Haven't been to Aria's pool so can't say about them.
