Las Vegas (General) - Walk from LVH to Wynn

I walk from LVH to Gold Coast or Hard Rock in any and all weather...it is just weather and I am bald!

The best move when it is hot is to walk over to the Riviera and cut through the casino and over through their food court...when you come out on the strip it is 10-15 minutes to Wynn max.

If you go up to convention center the street winds back and you walk farther than you need to if you cut through the Riviera.

Yes they used to have one. However, when I rode the monorail in November, there was a recorded announcement the shuttle from the convention center to Wynn had been discontinued.

This could actually kill two birds with one stone for use of the Riviera gaming coupons in the MRB and/or the ACG (although I think that it's one coupon per trip -- at least like a month apart).

LVH to Gold Coast? Wow, thats one hell of a walk. But what does being bald have to do with it?

That sun is hot on a bald head my friend!

I have a pretty standard routine...when you eat three buffets a day you NEED to walk.

I walk from LVH over to the GC after breakfast.....one morning I jog from LVH to the Orleans..I love to walk and jog! beers taste better that way!

I made the mistake of walking from the Hard Rock Casino to the Flamingo in June... I would swear that my sneakers were melting by the time I got to my room.
Only as i sat in my room drinking a lot of water & watching tv did i learn that it was 106° that afternoon !!

Am I missing something here ????

It's only about 1 mile for crying out loud.

It's not like running up Heartbreak Hill in the 26 mile+ Boston Marathon.

Grab a bottle of water and put one foot in front of the other, ......... and enjoy being outside and being on vacation on a hot but beautiful sunny day.

Or you can just go in the Winter time and not worry about the heat. I walked from the Riviera all the way down to NYNY last December and never broke a sweat

I am with Rick....for all the sitting at a table I do and VP machines the walk is awesome....I have walked Mandalay to Riv...I frequently walk LVH to Ellis and then to Bellagio and over to Gold Coast then out to the Orleans.....love walking for a break when things are slow on the tables....walking is good folks....heat or no heat go get it!

For those who haven't tried (ESPECIALLY in the summer heat) you can get an all day bus pass from any bus for about 5-7$... Totally worth it and good all day long 8). I mainly run up and down the strip, but its great for getting off strip to Hard Rock, terribles, LVH, ellis Island,etc. and downtown.

The public riders are OK, I've never been concerned for safety.
