What do you the day before you takeoff to Vegas?

Since I either drive or am driven to LV, I tend to pack on the morning of my departure (or late the night before).

But what I do usually the day before my visit is check out and print out a list of LV promotions to keep in mind (such as multi-points and coupons) and I also check out casino websites to see if there are any decent promotions going on.

Enjoy, Champ!

I organize my coupies, offers, and match plays for the 30th time and check for anything new that comes up on the internet and recheck my " LV to do" list. I always pack lightly so packing is easy, especially in the summer. Because this is a sister trip, I will have to make sure hubby has plenty of food in the house. 8 more days!

LOL...sounds like me. Although we drive down....18 hours non-stop...comes in about 19-20hrs with gas, food and potty breaks. I talk about our Vegas PLAN like 10 times on the way. We stay about 10 days and only get about 1/2 done. Oct 3rd @ 3pm still seems 4 ever away.
I usually try to get my house in order, the dogs to the kennel, shopping for last minute stuff, and I get my hair , nails, and a pedicure. Pack up and try to get some sleep. My hubby takes care of the financial stuff so we are good to go.

I call my bank and have the daily withdrawel limit from my CC changed from $500 to $2000 a day during the time that I am in Vegas for withdrawel, secondly I immediatly withdraw the $ I need in Vegas down there, in the event I win big and have to show some sort of winnings, I can always prove that it cost me $2000 to win that $800 etc. this $ ahead of time has always safeguarded me!!
If we have an intinerary, I research for last min. coupons and get all of that streamlined and packed into my coupon baggie. If we don't, I just grab coupons for the region we'll be in "just in case." My son will unload all of my nursing stuff from the car while I pack. He usually packs when I'm at work. Then, being the gentleman he is, he loads up our suitcases so we don't have to worry about it in the am. We just add our toiletries before we go. I usually withdrawl $$$ the day before "just in case" the ATM system shuts down the day of departure.I, or we, go so often it's not a big ordeal; we have it down to a science
I will be flying out from Uk on 26 September , so the day before will involve a 3 hour drive to airport and overnight stop. Barely any sleep due exciment followed by 11 hour flight .... ( 5 hour delay last time) followed by 8 hour time difference .. but it's so worth it when im sitting there with my first cocktail anticipating a jackpot !
Normally I fly out of Philly at 7am so I would leave the house at 4am. No real time to kill, my bags have been packe for about 24 hours all the coupons have been gathered and everything has been confirmed and I'm ready to go.

Sept 25th I flying out of Philly but not until 8:40pm. I will be watching the Eagles game at 1pm and checking in on the Phillies during commercials. I'll watch the 1st half of the 4pm game and head to the airport. Since I'll have the time, I'll probably be looking at all of the various boards and trying to stay as calm as possible.

Preparations the day before include: 1. buying snacks for the drive and a case of water for the entire trip. 2. Getting the car washed 3. Checking the weather report. 4. Getting some cash from the bank. 5. Making final arrangements made with dog-sitter. 6. I've got a "Vegas packing list" that I created on the computer that I print off and we do all our packing for the trip. It doesn't take us long as we have been going so regularly for the past couple of years.
I always wish it was the next day! Seriously, I always try to pack the day before to get it out of the way. I'll be touching all the clothes up once I get there anyway. I also make sure that all the travel papers I need the next day (boarding pass, car and hotel confirms) are in single pocket of carryon. Those and only those. Also make sure my two script meds are packed in carryon. If I'm not driving myself, I double check with ride to airport to be sure it's a go. When these are done, I'm ready to go.

Good Luck!
