What ever happened to?

Can anyone tell what ever happened to the guy who used to visit Vegas for like two weeks at a time? He used to write really great trip reports. He came from the East coast and played video poker all over town. He used to love the reserve and some sort of soup at the coffee shop. Eventually I believe he found a female aquaintence and she joined him on these trips. Just wondering what ever happened to him.

That sounds like "stungazed" whose trips reports I considered a masterpiece of details.
I never did try that "feel good soup" he frequently mentioned.

Yes, I think that that is likely to be Stungazed (James) and he still does occasionally post here.

And as for the woman companion that you mention, he married her.

And you're right he does write interesting trip reports. I'd like to have half the vacation time he gets.

My vacation time isn't as much as you'd think. I only get 12 vacation days a year. I get lengthy vacations in part due to my work schedule which is 3 days on, then 3 days off. So 3 vacation days gets me 9 days off. Add 3 more days of vacation and it jumps to 15. I'm also allowed to swap a shift with someone else that works the opposite days of me, so I always take a week off that way as well (but don't get any pay for doing it). The trip from this past summer was extreme in length because things were very slow and we were shutting down for 1 week a month, so I sandwiched my vacation time between the shut downs.

Stungazed, I always loved reading your trip reports. The detail was amazing. Liked the fact that you kept track of your daily win or loss. Also loved the eff you's at the end of each report.

I miss the posts by Flip and Noahcat. I know Flip is no longer a member, and I wonder if Jean Marie is still a member??
