what would you do?

I found a black $100 chip on the floor, during a craps tournament at the Hilton last year, which -if found is definetly the casinos property. Anyway, I figured out who the owner was and gave it back BUT.....................

If I was not in a tournament "and/or" I was not staying at that same casino for another two days, I would have been at the cashiers cage and out the door so fast they wouldnt have seen me on video!

Finders keepers! (its not the only thing I am going to have to explain to god when the time comes!)
Last year about this time I was in a Costa Rican Casino and found a $100.00 Casino Chip, still got it. I figured this will get me back to San Jose sometime in the future!!
I always return found chips to the owner...
the new owner...
me.
I found a $100 bill sticking out of a TITO redemption machine. I made the mistake of turning it into security. The way I was treated, you would have thought I was trying to steal money out of the guy's pocket, rather than return what I found.

I learned my lesson from that, and I know what I'll do next time.

Back in 1990 when she was 14, a friend from Connecticut found an envelope one night inside the women's washroom in the public library. Inside was $37,000. Although Lisa could've kept it, she turned it in. Turned out an elderly woman had closed out a savings account earlier in the day and forgotten it. The money had been missing for eight hours.
Lisa said she didn't care about not getting a reward but the woman never as much as said 'thank you' for returning it. I guess it all proves that doing the right thing doesn't always feel like it.

Oh you sweet woman, you found my long lost $50! I'll PM you my address
I would assume the universe was gifting me
seriously.

better you have it than the casino. ..or the next guy to look down before he entered the mens room
Last year I sat down at a machine just after someone left and found $40 still on it. Was able to catch them before they left. Felt good.
Couple of times have found money on the floor, a $5 and a $20. Both times no one around so I kept it.
One time I sat down at a machine, put a $20 in it and noticed a few plays later my total was $58 with no wins...obviously someone had left money in it and I didn't notice. Cashed it out and left since no one around that might have played it.
On numerous occassions have pointed out to people that they were leaving with a ticket hanging out of the machine. And can remember once when I was reminded too!
I certainly would keep it if I found in on the floor. If I had seen someone drop it, I would return it to them.

I lost 2 diamond bracelets while in the Plaza hotel in vegas, I noticed no one turned them in. My crummy jacket I lost at Trump Marina in AC, was turned in and I got that back!

I once found a $100.00 bill on the floor of the New Frontier.I looked around, there was no one in the area so I pocketed it. Actually I stuck it in a three play Dollar machine and blew threw it in record time,so...the casino eventually got it anyways. Bob
