What you have to get through to make your trip?

It alway's seems like I have several "Bigger" events prior to my trips to Lost Wages. Although, I do find these events since it does make time travel faster. Even though, it always turns out some of my gambling money gets goes away.

My next trip, I need to get by:

2/4 Wedding
2/5 Super Bowl
2/12 Daughters Shower

2/20 Leave for trip.

Does anyone else have the same issues?

That just proves that you have a life, congratulations! My question is, the wedding is on the 4th and the shower is on the 12th? At least you didn't let either interfere with the Super Bowl.

My next solid reservation for Vegas is not until March 28th. I was going to sneak in a solo trip in Feb but I just found out I'm heart surgery in two weeks then three weeks of recovery, so yes, things do happen before Vegas trips but in the end we do get to go

Rocky, good luck with the surgery. Everyone (except for lucky me) in my family has had it. Please don't rush youself and do what they tell you!

The wedding, even though I didn't plan it, I am so glad they didn't mess with the superbowl! I had my baby shower actually on the super bowl. (Hubby had to deal with it) My daughters baby shower is the week after. (See I learned from past mistakes)

More to the sad side:
Two best friends each just put a parent in hospice, one's mom, the other's dad.
I'd feel awful if the deaths/funerals happened during a Vegas trip.

So I'll wait for those sad events to be over withbefore I plan a jolly Vegas trip.

Like I said, these are two really, really best friends.

O2BN, I am so sorry for your news. Having been through that a couple of times, I know it's such a horrible time. Especially, when you are looking forward to a trip.

Usually no big event other than someone (usually me) ending up in the ER before every trip. OH well--so is life. Sorry to hear about everyone's bad news. Been where you all are (not the heart surgery)--know things will get better.

I'll try to lighten the mood a little - Personally, My next trip is March 14-18 "March Madness"!

What I have to get through -

San Antonio Rodeo shows on Feb. 9th, 11th, 18th.

Valentines day - I still gotta figure something out so thats kind of important

I am a High School teacher and Head Track coach - we host 2 track meets at the first of March and that is always a stressful time for me because I have to organize it all. Then I will also have 2 other track meets to take my team too before the trip - so needless to say I will be ready to wind down when March 14th rolls around!
