What's your pre/post Vegss ritual?

If we leave on an afternoon or evening flight, I have to have a PB & J sandwich before we leave the house, hubby has a turkey sandwich. On the flight out, it's Bailey's & coffee for me. If we're staying mid strip, the first day we eat @ Planet Dailies @ PH (I don't really know why the service consistently sucks, but the food is good). Whe we get home, we order pizza from Mr. Gattis.

I don't have a pre Vegas ritual. But my post Vegas ritual involves about 12-16 hours of sleep.

pre--watch all my Vegas related movies over and over and over
post--sulk that I'm not in Vegas anymore

Pre - Make a list/schedule of what I plan to do and where to go
Post - Laugh at said list because I didnt get to half of the list

I always try to make an itinerary, and yes, most of that goes out the window when there. It justifies the immediate planning of the next trip.

Marko, I used to do the list thing til I realized we never did the list.
Amy, I sulk too, unless I already have my reservation for my next trip....which I do this time, 3rd wk of Sept.

Before: Definitely make a list of things I want to do...no specific times. I usually get 3/4 of the list accomplished. I pack in the last hour prior to leaving for the plane.
Arrival: I get drunk. First thing...get drunk. Play craps drinking until I'm ready to collapse. Then I go up and sleep it off. When I wake up I start my Vegas Vacation. Funny because I don't drink at home.
Leaving: Sulk and wonder why I'm not going home to get things in order so that I can make an immediate move to Las Vegas. I think my family and career might have something to do with my not moving to Las Vegas. Can I drop them off at the next stop?

I usually get any show tickets several weeks ahead of time.
I also make dinner reservations at one or two restaurants I plan to dine at.

Post trip:I mainly try to recover from my jet lag and alcohol intake
