When to go????

Last year the pineapple express blew into town the week before Christmas and it rained for 5 days. The weather can be hit or miss in December.

We were there during that storm and actually LOVED it! It was really cool to see the clouds swirling around the Strat at night w/the glowing lights streaming through.That being said, we go pretty often and really enjoy weather changes like that in LV (was there when it snowed the year before.)If you can only go once or a few times a year, that kind of weather could really put a damper on your LV experience.But, we always try to go in December as it really is nice to see the decorations, trees, and to enjoy a less crowded LV.

Thanks everybody. I appreciate the info. Am booked at Paris, 8 days, $260. I can't stay at motel 6 in Tulsa for that.

You will love Vegas in Dec. I would recommend a trip to Mt. Charleston to see the snow. A lot of people don't know there is a ski resort within about an hours drive of the strip.

That's hilarious - we were there, too! It was a four day trip, and think it rained every doggone day! Would still recommend December just the same - matter of fact, will be back this year!
