Dan,

Let me know what you think of the HR.

Thanks

I had Barb call the front desk after we got to the room to find out how they describe it and the response was a "Corner King Suite". It wasn't on the corner so I'm not entirely sure about the designation. I have pics but am on the wrong computer to be able to download, upload, post, etc. but will try to do so over the weekend.

The room is modern chic with a armoir separating the sitting area (couch, chairs, desk) from the sleeping area (bed and nightstands). The wall between the bedroom area and bathroom is smoked glass and you can draw a curtain for privacy and lighting issues. The bathroom had a separate water closet, a large French shower and a tub along with two sinks.

There was an in wall iPhone/iPod connection with a small flat panel display to change volume, random play, etc.

The bedding was comfortable but some may find the matress too soft.

Only issues we had was that the minibar was electronically locked and when we inquired by phone to the front desk, they indicated they would try to unlock it but if this didn't work, they would have to send housekeeping or engineering. It didn't reset and it wasn't worth the bother to have someone come up to open it. Also, we left the "do not disturb" sign on the door yet when we came back later in the day, the room was accessed and made up. The sign was then back in the room. Not sure if someone was screwing with us and flipped the sign to the "Please make up room" side or perhaps the sign fell off the door. Not a big issue but I don't like to leave some things just laying around if the maid is coming in.

Overall, if you threw in a small kitchenette area, I could live in the place.

I'm not sure how this compares to a standard room....didn't know what we were going to get until we checked in....the offer was pretty nondescript.

Hope this helps!

Dan
