I expect Bellagio will be impressive. Anywhere else recommended for strolling with the squares (my brother- and sister-in-law and their two teenagers) and oooohing and ahhhhing?
With a car, visit the Las Vegas Speedway for an incredible "drive thru" experience. Also visit Ethel M's Cactus Garden, and with children, a visit to Opportunity Village on Oakey is a great experience.
I second the Ethel M's cactus garden, which as of last year had over 250,000 lights strung thru all the cacti. Well worth the drive there. Plus you have a chance to buy some of their chocolate - mmmmm. We go any time we're in town over the holidays. I think New Years Day is the last day. (Never been to the Speedway for the lights.)
