Where to buy......

Would someone recommend an upscale grocery store, prefer close to the strip or airport. I need a good place to pick up some olives, cheese, bread, wine, oj, etc. Thanks for your help.

Not sure exactly what you mean by upscale?

Many of the hotels have either something in house, or close by. Would help if we knew where you were staying.

Cab or rental car?

There is a Whole Foods at Town Square

Whole Foods is a great place to go upscaled in any of the itmes you mentioned.

We will have a rental car, somewhat familar with LV as we have done this trip many times. We always get a fridge in our room (Palazzo) and like to pick up some fruit , olives, wines, chasers, snacks etc. Most of the grocery stores we have visited do not have an olive bar, good fruit or cheese and a limited wine selection. I am familar with Whole Foods but wonder if there is some other place. Thanks for any help.

It might not be upscale but what about Trader Joe's? We drove past one last week while in Vegas. It's located on S Decatur Blvd, between W Sahara & W Oakey Blvd. Although, I know this isn't just off the strip, it's still not that far away. Check their website for more locations.
