Why did Vegas get so LOUD?

When it comes to music in casinos there is no way they can make all the people happy all the time. The only times I have found the music too loud in casinos, its been at the "party pits". I avoid these. I've never noticed music to be too loud in restaurants. Maybe this is something they just started doing. I would find this annoying.

That said, last year I stayed 3 nights at the Wynn. The music played in the casino, in my opinion, was terrible. It was very slow and created no vibe. It could almost put you to sleep. It was my number one dislike of the casino.

The reason they play the so-called "music" so loud is for the near deaf generations who have grown up with boom boxes, loud auto speakers and cranked up ear buds while they listen to their I Pods. In a nutshell, they can't hear music played at what used to be considered enjoyable levels. They will be the future hearing aid generation.

That's what our parents complained about rock and roll-- Elvis, Chuck Berry..those silly English "Mop-Tops".
