William Hill barrings

William Hill barrings Reportedly over 50 players have been barred this past month and most were betting via the mobile app. Trading the convenience of remote betting for your anonymity is something that must be considered, not only at WH, but at Stations as well. Other spots on the net are discussing the fairness and even legality of these barrings. How to stay in action needs to be discussed too because this is not going to go away soon. Frustrating to have your money on deposit only to be afraid to bet it. If you have the option, making bets should be done live or at kiosks instead of using the app. The bigger you bet, the tougher this will be but for mid level players this shouldn't be too difficult. Hope to get some info from William Hills end soon on what's happening.
Strange - maybe they got hit big$$ a few times & are cutting back - - - Don't know why they would bar someone vs "call us" for approval - - - - place 3/4 dime bets mobile with no problem / placed 10 dime bets with a phone call approval - - - just my past experiences - let's see what happens next month = =
I've been blocked on WH app 3 separate times: 1) expired driver's license on file. 2) W9 and W2 forms. 3) they wanted my photo ID (again) and my SSN card. I had to convince them that access to my SSN card was difficult as it was stored safely away and I didn't have access to it during that trip to NV but I already filled out a W9 form on a prior trip. I had my driver license and passport in a file so I was able to email them this info. They eventually found the W9 and let me off on the SSN card image requirement. I think all the books eventually wanted a good drivers license on file. I don't think I've had problems with any of them due to recordkeeping like W9 and other stuff that WH wanted (or maybe I already filled it out when I signed up for the mobile app). Cantor had some new terms of service form that required a signature once. Only other issue I can think of is Stations was unavailable in late July due to something on their end. FWIW I'm a very low end bettor (like $10 3- and 6-team parlays and straight bets easily under $100).

Important to distinguish the difference between blocked and barred. In the case of BobK and just about everyone else at some point during the year, these are just annoying stoppages due to regulatory requirements. A valid ID must be on file so you get the account disabled when your ID on file expires. Provide new ID and they open it back up. Cantor has a rule that an account that is dormant for six months gets disabled. Re-activating it requires a visit to the book. This is going to happen to all of them at one time or another. Barring is a different story. William Hill and Station are the two with the reputation for barring players. If it happens at Coast, Cantor or SouthPoint I'm not aware of it so it's rare or non-existent.
