William Hill Line Discrepancy Dispute on App Bets Game was SF @ Den on Sunday Night Football. Bet was a prop.
On the app they had Colin Kaepernick at 265.5 pass yds. He threw for
263 yds so if you had UN you'd expect to see a graded winner today but
that's not the case. William Hill is claiming that the app may have said
265.5 pass yds but the bet was actually for pass yds PLUS rush yds which
he had 18 of. Apparently the live board and sheets had it that way but the
app did not. Now what happens?
It seems to me that they need to just pay those people (I am not one of
them) for their UN bets and be done with it. It's just too close to what the
market pass yds line was (239.5) and the market pass+rush yds was (278).
It's right in the middle so at the window I'd probably have bet the OV on P&R
and on the app I'd have bet the UN on pass yds. Of course that means they
probably would get scooped vs all those betting that had a reference for that
prop but that was just the semi-unlikley result.
