Another Resort Fee question-sorry

Does anyone know if Resort Fees are added on to pre-paid flight/hotel packages?
Sis and husband are pricing flight/hotel etc. packages for a family event.

Comps are not in the picture, they won't gamble any to count for anything.
Would they be hit with a Resort Fee after arrival?

I did a trip a few years ago booking Air and Hotel, somewhere's in the booking
of this, it stated that resort fee's of " X " amount of dollars would be collected
by the Hotel upon checkin, and it was.

Thanks, Lee. I'll alert them to watch for this. The stay is supposed to be 7 days, so that would be quite a hit.

Is there a chance the resort fee would be included in the hotel package?

Booked thru Southwest Vacations. Stayed at Mirage last year and the resort fee was not included in the package. It was collected during our check in. Be aware they also charge tax on resort fees. As far as I know this is how all resort fees are handled. I don't know of any that are included in the package prices.

ALTHOUGH, when I booked my trip, without naming a property, It was real close
to " Tropicana " Blvd, and the 3rd party operator whom I booked through, " name
kind of sounds like Expedite " listed a number of items included in the daily Resort
Fee, that actually weren't available during my stay etc. such as a year round pool
etc. and after complaining when I got home , the property reversed my Resort Fees!
