Any August Offers From Palms?

Has anyone received any room offers from the Palms for August? I am trying to organize a trip to Las Vegas for the first week of August, and would like to stay a few nights at the Palms. Marketing has been sending room offers during this past year, but so far, nothing for August. I just wish they would realize that their out-of-town guests can't organize their trips at the last minute! Please let me know if you received an August offer in the mail. Thanks so much!

Won't stay there ever again, now that they have a stinking resort fee!

Palms didn't send me a thing for years, then sent me great offers for about nine months, then cut them off again. I don't waste time with casinos that don't send room offers.

I haven't gotten any Aug offers yet, but went on a great offer in May. Salon suite 3 nites comped, $100 free food and $200 free play.

Looking forward to my next trip in Sept.

I was planning on staying there mid August. Like you, I received offers for the spring and for June & July but nothing for August. I called and after giving my info was offered $149 for a Saturday night and $49 for a Sunday night. I made a reservation but I'll probably cancel. When you add in the resort fees, even with the $50 coupon it's more than I was anticipating. I'll be in Vegas during "Carmageddon" weekend in L.A. I figured I'd go over and talk to someone in person and see if I could get a better deal. Funny how the resort fee really turns some people off (like me).

I rarely play at the Palms, but they sent me two nights mid week with $30 in free play. Took one night, Do I have to pay the resort fee? I think I have enough points to cover it. Oh, and it's only for a superior room, which I've never stayed in since I usually stay there with jackalope who always get the Fantasy Tower, or the one time I really lucked out and got a huge suite (long story.) So I hope the room is okay. Just wanted to stay somewhere with good games, and I like the Palms too.
