Anyone try the Coast Casino's Prime Rib Buffet

Any opinion on this buffet? Interested in trying the one at Gold Caost next week
Thanks
We had the Orleans prime buffet a few weeks ago. Its a reduced buffet with all the normal carving station foods so even if you don't like the prime your still ahead on price. The prime rib is the standard you get on a buffet-its ok but not like what you get in a resturant. I'd say its the same as Stations used to serve when they had prime rib on their buffet. Rate it a B- and with everything else you can have along with the price give it a B plus.
I'd agree with Jokare's assessment, although I had it at the Gold Coast. I always get the rarest prime rib they have, and I thought it was fine for the price. I was pleasantly surprised at the horseradish - let's just say the sinuses were quite clear.

Don't go expecting Lawry's or a comparable prime rib, have a salad and some veggies, and I think you'll find you got your money's worth.

If you're over 50, the prime rib buffet is the same day as geezer day, so you can get the buffet for half-price.
I tried it just before Thanksgiving. The prime rib was good and so was everything else. I like the Gold Coast buffet. Not fancy but fine with me.

I also think it is fine.

I usually end up there once every trip.

I also would rate it a B. Worth the price I think.

They also have a steak night which I think is also OK.

Thanks for the info... will give it a shot sometime this trip.

By and large, getting old sucks, except in Vegas you can score multiple points and cheap food.

Ain't it the truth!
In addition to the MRB and ACG coupons where you earn a free buffet playing so many points, Orleans has a promo this month where on Wednesdays you get a free buffet when you earn 200 points and you keep the points. On Thursdays at Goldcoast, 100 points is a free breakfast buffet, 200 points for lunch and 300 is dinner, and you get to keep the points. With these promos and coupons and without much play at Orleans/Gold Coast you could have a free buffet meal every day for a few days.
