My husband is back from his stay at AC-Decatur and he said it was fine for what he needed...a moderately priced place to crash after a long day(s) of being in a seminar class. He has back problems but said the bed was fine and didn't cause any problems with his back. The area was ok too. Close to a drug or convenience store.

We were both a little nervous about him staying here cuz he recently had a bad experience at a La Quinta Inn in Austin where from the minute he walked in the lobby it had a bad smell, looked dirty etc. His room wasn't any better so he got his stuff, went to the front desk and told them he wasn't staying there and to refund his credit card. He went to a Fairfield Inn just down the road and for about $20 more a night it was soooo much better. Glad AC-Decatur was good enough for him to stay.

Best part of his stay...he finally hit his first Royal Flush here - yea!! I still haven't hit one, hoping my turn will come when we go in July.
