B connected tier requirements

I am having a hard time finding exact answers. I think I might be able to qualify for Sapphire this year.
If you are out of state, I think, your tier credits are good for a year, does anyone know for sure?

I keep reading about a renewal date but it seems it is different for each person? So does this mean if I qualify in September my tier level is good until next September?

once you hit 25,000 points, you will be sapphire for a year from that date pretty much. the players club will print you a blue card with an expiration date stamped on it. if some of your points drop off during that year and put you below 25,000 points, you will still be sapphire until the expire date. if you play enough throughout the year, you will probably earn back enough points to put you back above 25,000 by the time September comes around again. the bconnected website shows a pretty clear chart of when you have points dropping off. for the record, it seems like I get more tier points from table game play than I do from the slot machines. I am sapphire and have seen no big difference in my offers.

You've seen no big difference in your offers being Sapphire because offers aren't based on your tier. They are based on your daily average.
