boyd -- going from ruby to sapphire..

I would agree with jstewa22. our only boyd property stays for the last 10-plus years have been at sam's town
where our offers have actually increased in the last year.
we have gold card offers showing through sept. 2015, RFB for 5 nights, $100 slot play. has been that way since oct. 2014.
probably avg. $4K+ daily play
My wife & I arelow rollers. We go to Las Vegas every spring & fall. The Orleans comps us two weekday nights and $10 food credit. The gold Coast comps us two weekday nights.
that is correct, the downtown boyds don't charge a resort fee. but the Orleans and GC do. so now instead of offering a comped room, they are offering discounted rooms such as $24 or $29 or $39 a night, plus resort fee. and I have been feeding them considerably more money.
My Sams offers havn't changed in 2 years...always 5 nights, gold card and $150 play and a suite. Doesn't seem to matter whether I win or loose. Average play is 15-20K a day. Orleans offers do go up and down and currently are 3 nights and $50 food.

I'm not sure what these folks are thinking but they better figure out what it is they want. As Las Vegas properties have begun to draw more revenue from "non-gaming" sources those of us who actually pump money into the slots and table games are starting to get messed around with. I enjoy gambling so does my wife. But if the casinos are going to stop providing rooms and comps to those of us who gamble it will make it very easy to skip the two trips we make each year (I'm talking airfare to LV and back) and concentrate our play in our home markets. I realize I speak only for my household but imagine there may be others who think similarly. Champster, let us all know if you have success with the Station folks I still can't figure those clowns out.

Funny you say that about Stations. I looked at my Stations offers afer a PM from Stew! And I must have 4/5 offers from Palace which I have nt stayed at in years but did give them some play during my March Madness trip. Red Rock also seems to say hi more frequently but PS offer of 3 nights for the next 3 months is a first in about 3 years!

Nothing unusual on my Stations acct. Lots of offers from RR, GVR and Sunset...the places I normally play. Nothing else.
Yes, vegasdev, call a host to get your August rooms. The hosts have really been helpful.
