Boyd Is Back!!!!

This might be premature. But I just logged into my B-Connected and the YAH stipulation of locals only has been dropped. I also saw this post on another site a few minutes ago. This post was a response someone got from Boyd...

"Hi Georgina ~ thank-you for contacting us. Based on Customer feedback, Boyd has decided to reinstate our Young At Heart promotion to all starting this Wednesday.

Have A great Day"

I will be there March 19-24 to verify.
Just to clarify my prior post.

It looks like they have dropped the "locals only" stipulations at The Orleans, Gold Coast, Sam's Town, and Suncoast

The locals only stipulation for the downtown properties is still in effect.
better than nothing I guess, but I will be staying at the Fremont on Weds. March 29th and I wanted to do the promo there.
"Participants must be B Connected members and must be at least fifty (50) years of age for all portions of this promotion, except the 4:30pm drawing at the following participating properties: The Orleans, Gold Coast and Suncoast. Age qualified B Connected members from any zip code may earn entries and participate in the drawing. Visit promotional kiosks for your Young at Heart offers and to activate your drawing entries. See B Connected for complete details"

HUH?? strange wording me thinks. are they saying we can only be in the drawing at Sams Town? clarification please. get it together Boyds!!

Thanks goes out to all of you who took the time out to complain.
This is great news. We will be there for 2 Wednesday's on our next trip at the end of June/beg of July and my hubby turns 50 in May! Hopefully Boyd will also rethink their new room come offers and go back to the monthly offers instead of the 2 month offers!
While this is good news, what they are doing to their vp inventory is less than good news. We've been through a lot of Boyd properties. We are currently with Aliante. As soon as they degrade the vp games, we will be gone. Boyd has chased us out of Sam's, Eastside Cannery and I'm sure Aliante will be a goner too. I am currently shopping for a new property to play......of course, as soon as I select it, Boyd will likely buy it. And the hunt will go on.

That is great news, now as long as they don't change there mind again before we arrive at the end of May. We also finally received our Suncoast offer in the mail and we were relieved that they did give us the 4 days free and $225 play and as stated online, but it also included $100 food allowance per stay. Far cry from the old offers of 3 nites per month, $100 a day in slot, $100 a day in food, but something is better then nothing. Strange tho just yesterday we received a call from BConnected after we voiced our thoughts on there website and were told there would be no food credit on this offer. How can they not know.
