Boyd - November mailers for locals

The Boyd group combined the local mailers for Orleans, Gold Coast, Sam's Town and Suncoast in November, and I'm guessing, going forward.

Now you can redeem the free play and food coupons at any of the four casinos. Sounds good...but...the level of free play and food coupons has been drastically reduced.

In October, I received $225 in free play from the Gold Coast and $160 in free play from the Suncoast. In November I received $120 total!!

In October I received $160 in food comps from the Gold Coast. In November it was $60!!

I understand there are various parameters that can and do effect the mailers, but it sure seems like there has been a big downgrade.

Has anyone else had a similiar experience?

At Sam's,my room offers are the same, three free nights. But food has changed.Used to get a cash amount I could use at Billy Bob's.Now,just two buffets.May have to spend more time downtown.
Yup. Orleans was always $50 food and $50 free play. Now $25 food and $25 free play. Sams has stunk for a year now. Used to be Gold or Silver card with alot of free play-now 2 free buffets and $25 free play. Orleans Macy cards were $250, now $100. Bean counters are being nasty.
Our November mailer has not come in yet.

Boyd is trying to copy Station's program, with offers being more applicable to a group (Coast, Downtown, etc) instead of individual properties. What I have heard is that instead of many small offers, they wanted to offer one larger offer that's good at multiple properties. I just received my mailer a couple days ago, and haven't really gone through it yet, but I heard about their program changes via an exec with their organization.

The problem is "It ain't larger!"
I noticed that, I'm just passing along what I was told. Ironically enough, I just looked at my flyer and it looks like I have little offers from each Coast property.

However, as I haven't played at a Boyd property in a couple of months, I'm almost surprised that I received anything at all. Have you played in a few months? Sometimes it's hard to tell how their marketing department is determining offers.
Update - received a seperate mailer from the Gold Coast. $100 in free play and $40 in food comps, bringing the total to $220 in free play and $100 in food. Not up to last month, but getting closer!

No seperate mailer from the Suncoast...yet.
