I'm emerald level at Boyd and get a quarterly room, food and free play offer. I usually stay on property but not on my next trip. I have to book a room to use the food credits but it says to insert my card for the free play with no mention of staying on property. The Boyd offers for food and free play are indipendant of your room offer.. So you should be able to pop in and have a free lunch or dinner and use your free play. It is always nice to straddle 2 months and get to use them twice in one trip
It sure is. Most trips, I schedule to cover months end/beginning. I try to get the most value out of my airfare(booked with points!) I like to think Jean Scott would be proud of my frugality. 🥳
