BOYD - Response to new comp offers - I'M NOT HAPPY!

my play at downtown boyds will be cut back considerably. I know they court the Hawaiians and have the charters for them. I have nothing against that. did I do something wrong? is money from Indiana (or any other state) not as good as money from Hawaii or locals? what gives?

Don't count on those Sapphire renewal offers any longer. They have eliminated that benefit. I qualified for this at the end of February. When I reached out on March 10th to find out why I hadn't received it yet, I learned that this benefit has been discontinued as well. So now we have to scramble to figure out what to do on our upcoming trip - air already booked so we are locked in. Sucks having to pay for nights that used to be free.

We'll be putting some play in at other places while we are there for 8 days to see if we can find a new home casino (or family of casinos). Not giving Boyd the majority of our bankroll anymore. Don't love me, I'm not going to love you back.

I logged into my account on the BConnected site. Went to Tools and Contact Us to send an e-mail. The person who responded to me had the title of "Marketing Manager". Please do the same if you are unhappy....it may not make a difference but the more negative feedback they get the better!

Sad, I had been a Boyd customer for years, I finally made sapphire in 2016 thinking CET is getting bad , looking for a new home. Poof my offers went down to one night comped . I previously had 2 nights with some minor comped food. I would think if you move up a tier your offers should go up not down. Granted I am a low roller but really but really one night ? Not worth my time.

Just got two offers from ST, one for me and one for my wife. Both of them were for 4 days thru June 30th, but hers had twice the food comp ($50) and $75 in FP. Mine was for $25 FC & $50 FP. Understand that I'm an Emerald and she is a Saph and last time we went there I put thru 70K and she put thru 5K. The Gold Cards seem to be in the past.
So much for ST and their old machines.

It is obvious that an idiot or group of idiots are now in charge of this program.

Besides the comp cutbacks, the program reductions, you need to check out vpFree. Sam's doesn't have much vp poker worth playing anymore.......my check this morning shows 2 games better than 9/6 Jacks and neither of those were over 100% EV. I'm left wondering if the suits at Stations took the time to send the suits at Boyd's a thank you note. What a colassal error in judgement by Boyd. Over the years, we've stayed at Main Street, Sam's Town, Orleans, Gold Coast, Eastside and Aliante. Boyd has entered nuclear winter for us. A pox on all their houses.
