Boyd rewards downgraded

Thanks for that info. So the marketing people must have forgotten to put the YAH advertisement this time but they managed to put endless worthless ads on the offers page, for example 2x the "best of Vegas" bla bla bla thing and how many food options you can consider as "offer" may be questionable at this time.

Well, at the last minute, they decided that their "Fuck You, Stay Away" ad wasn't the best choice after all. despite its refreshing honesty.

The YAH promo is now on their "Offers" page: https://suncoast.boydgaming.com/explore/offers/young-at-heart-days

Thanks for that info. The multiplier is at least a little something and it helps getting at least a free meal after the session.

The sad thing is that I didn't even stop in for a YAH or to play a couple hours of vp last trip. Once upon a time, I got 12 to 24 nights comped a year with Boyd. Now I don't even stroke the chin of the gator at the Alligator bar.

I guess they do not need me these days.

Yeah, it used to be that simply having played at Boyd or Stations in a given quarter would get you an offer for three or more free nights the next quarter at your "favorite" casino (the bots would determine at which of those properties you had played the most). So you could come every few months and stay for a week+ for free.

No mas. They have both vowed publicly that there will be no more freebies--and they used those exact words. I expect that the cocktail waitress won't even bring you a can of Moose Piss Beer any more.

We have found that the boyd offers, are getting better than they were a few years.  Not many paper mailers, but they are on your account when you sign in.  Rooms, free play and food credit.  And no resort fees for comped rooms !

Which properties are doing that for you? I recall that back in the Good Old Days, Fremont and MSS were a lot easier to get room comps than Orleans was--because, somebody told me, the Big O had fewer rooms...?

I got kind of a shock today in that I received a rather plaintive "Long time no see" e-mailer from the Orleans--no fifteen cents off a room Sun-Thurs offer or anything like that, but still--I haven't darkened their doorstep in over a year, except for a couple of brief visits to their poker room.

It's been awhile since my wife and I got any kind of correspondence from Boyd (paper or email).  We consistently (before Covid), got their postcard and emails for free rooms, free play and dining credits, but not in the last year plus.  And we still go over to Sam's Town or the Orleans and give them a good half day of play when we go to one of the shows, eat at TGIF's or go to the movies.

We never get much from downtown, but suncoast , gold coast, orleans, and Allieante are all properties we have stayed at and seen an uptick in offers from this last year.
