Boyd's B-Connected card ?

How does this work, point-wise? (Do you use tier for anything?)
I know you get 40% off the cost of meals.

I have Slot Points: 105,958 and currently am Sapphire until next April.

Can I use my slot points to all Boys properties to pay for meals?
(I know I did last April @ MSS for the buffet and Brew pub).

Am I limited to just their buffets and cafe's?
I'm planning on stopping at Gold Coast and Orleans, and wonder what restaurants I can use my pts at.

Oh, and can I pay for another person w/my points?

Thanks!
As far as I know you can use your points at any restaurant in any of their casinos. If you put the other person's charges on your bill at the restaurants you should have no problem paying for their meals. An example is that I've use my points to pay for T.G.I.F. @ Gold Coast. I've also used my points to pay for meals at both of the the Chinese places inside of the Gold Coast. At Orleans you can also use your points at the food court at places like Subway and the burger place.
You can use it at all Boyd casinos across the nation. That is the way the program was set up when they went to the B-connected system.
The last I knew the B-Connected rules are different at different casinos. Original Boyd properties, Coast properties, and outside Vegas properties have different rules.

Here in the midwest, a comp dollar is redeemed at 500pts/1 dollar, but in LV it was 600/1 dollar the last time we redeemed. But this was a year or so ago, so it may have changed.
When they say 40% off the cost of meals, what they mean is this:

If you change your points into cash, it's 1,000 points = $1.
If you pay for a meal with points, it's 600 points = $1.

The price of the meal is still what it is -- not 40% off the bill.

You can use your comp/slot points at any Boyd/Coast casino in Vegas, at all restaurants. And yes, you can pay for as many people in your party as you wish.

You do not "use" your "tier points" for anything. They just determine what level you're at.
Thanks for the info, everyone!
I may have just learned something new about my B-Connected card that I never knew before (Duh) thanks to this post. I've got 116,000 "Tier" points with something like 195,000 slot points. The slot points can be redeemed for meals without impacting your "Tier" points, correct? At 600 points per dollar, my public school education says there's about $325 in food there if I pay with my card at any Boyd restaurant regardless of where I'm staying. Do you just present it when you pay for your meal? I always wondered what the difference was between the two point levels - but never got around to asking (Double Duh)...
Salbertson--Yes: When paying the bill, just present your B Connected card to any Boyd owned restaurant to get your 40% off (has to be Boyd owned). Non-Boyd owned (TGIF etc.) are $1.00 Per 1,000 points normally.
Oh! You mean al those times I paid for breakfast at TGIF it was at 1000 points per dollar and not 600?

Salberston - you are also right that using your points does not affect your Tier point level. When spending them they are all just points. You can spend them all, and the system will still show you have 116,000 tier points earned towards determining your Ruby/Saphire/Emerald level. In other words, you don't have to keep your Tier Points to maintain your Tier Status.
