Do The Rooms at Sam's Town Have refrigerators and safes?

I recently stayed at Sam's Town for a 3 night comped stay, and much to my surprise, the room had a fridge as well as a safe. I was curious - do all the rooms at Sam's Town now have fridges and safes?

I've been staying at Sam's for many years and don't ever remember a frig.Don't know about safes as I never usethem.

I don't recall there being a fridge in my ST room, although one time I was given a suite there and that had a fridge. Maybe they're trying to do a little upgrading, I hope?

The upgraded rooms have both. I believe they are referred to as "premium" rooms there.

I am sitting in my premium room at Sam's Town right now.

There is a refigerator and a safe. There is also a big fat sofa which is very nice. (Sometimes you get 2 fat recliners, also nice.)

There is a coffee maker next to the refrigerator, in the room, thank goodness, not in the bathroom, and there extra towels in the bathroom.

Some of the premium rooms have a few extra square feet because of the way the "town" is constructed with some buildings sticking out a foot or two, or with a bay window.

We got this toom by asking at checkin. The desk clerk called the only remaing host at Sam's and since we are Emerald status, and since it was available, it was ok'd. You can also ask in advance, before you arrive. We used to ask Johnny, our host, but we all know how that story ended. Sometimes a front desk supervisor can approve it.

Also new this trip at Sam's Town is FREE internet WiFi up to 4 devices, if the room is comped. I discovered this just by signing on (I expected the former charge of $4.99, but no, it is now free on our comped room). Now, whether there are any ifs, ands, or buts about the free WiFI, I don't know. I just stumbled upon it.

I will elaborate on the ifs, and or buts of the Green Valley Ranch internet free policy (mentioned in an earlier thread) when I get home.

Just got back from a birthday visit there. VP greeted me and put us in a very nice suite. Had expected a premium room like last month with reefer and extra space, so this was a nice surprise. Selected a Coach purse for my gift and my wife loved it. And, as always, the Gold card is really handy.
The only thing that would have been better is if I had won! Went over 500k status credits for the year so another Emerald locked in for the next year.

Premium room indeed if it includes a reefer!
