Eastside Cannery implosion

I stayed there just 1x and it's of course years back. Although I stayed in a room on a high floor I could basically hear everything that was happening, above, next or below me. The rooms were not sound proof at all and it wasn't a good experience back then. The entire casino floor remoinded me of some can factory but the gaming conditions were good.  I was a bit surprised that they closed it down but Sam's Town remains open. With all the amenities being closed (buffet, poker room) and hardly half as much action as they used to have compared to pre-covid it is a surprise that they still keep that old place open and put down the newer building. Obviously Sam's Town is legendary, and Cannery was never supposed to be as a  part of the Boyd Family I guess.
