Eastside Cannery Info

Going down the middle of April and staying part of the week at the EC for the first time. As I recall, the VP is mediocre, which is ok. I'll play craps or maybe even pai gow as I've been threatening to do for years anyway. I'd just like any info out there about food, room preference etc. Also, I think I read about a fridge in the room. Is that true? Any info would be appreciated.

Good Luck!

Haven't been there in like 3-4 years. Rooms were comfortable and beds were too. Walls somewhat thin. Pool was nice, but during certain parts of the year overrun with kids. The Steakhouse, Carve, was very good, and they give a 20% discount on check-in or at least used to. Deli and coffee shop were good. Sam's Town is in walking distance. I used to love craps there, when it was $3 minimum and 20X odds, but it is 5$ now, not bad, keeps some Boulder Highway riff-raff away. The rooms had a fridge!
I agree that Carve is very good, but it is closed Mon + Tue. On Wed an all you can eat menu is offered that is priced at $24.99. A variety of free entertainment is offered in Marilyn's Lounge. The VP used be very good, than it got real bad and now is good again. Check out VPFree for the details:
