Fisrt ever Rampart offer. Do I switch from Gold Coast?

Toady I was greeted (in my P o Box) with my very first comp room offer that included 2 tickets for 2 days to their March Madness party. I've only played at the Rampart 2/3 times in the past 2/3 years. The last trip was in October when their 5 handed quarters treated me pretty good.

I currently have my 1st 2 nights in Vegas 19-21st of March booked (comped) at the Gold Coast (which I have stayed at twice before) and then I move to Ballys (actually booked 4 comp nights 20-24th) for my first "Hoops on the strip" invite.

Should I leave the GC (which gives me "free" admission into their "free" March madness party ) for the Rampart? I've never stayed nor seen the ramparts rooms nor restaurants. I am familiar with all of the GC! And I'll be solo for the first 3 days in Vegas.

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Well Champ, the question that I think you need to weigh is whether what Rampart has to offer you is worth your dealing with when it puts you further away from other casinos or whether you actually possibly further want to increase your relationship with Rampart and have another place to go to?

Well, Suncoast and Red Rock are close. Problem is you need to find someone who has stayed there.

It's March Madness. You want to be around as much activity and excitement as possible and maybe hop around different places. Stay at the Gold Coast!

Although it doesn't answer your question, I will be in Vegas for my first March Madness from Wednesday until early Monday Morning. I'm going to stick to downtown and the strip, but expect to give the Gold Coast some play. Let me know if you'd like to try to hook-up.

I groomed Rampart. 10+ hours of 25-50c vp in one weekend. My 2 free nights @ birthday came and went, didn't use the comp, but swung by for cents-off dining shown on mailer. "Sorry" you must check in for this comp to activate. It probably said all that on mailer but i was used to free play and 10 off dining for walking in. FWIW I wish I had stayed. Next you're there, champ, do breakfast but upgrade for ham steak. They obliged me by not chargrilling for sake o' my GERD. I is nicer than GC, I betcha. Good luck!

Good idea sis. However after talking to my better half and looking at photos of the hotel,and showing her the photoz ive made my decision. Gonna keep GC and slowly make my way toBalkys Thursday. Just booked Rampart for Saturday and Sunday night so that Kim (who arrives on Sat) she can have the choice of either! She enjoyed the Rampart casino last October and im looking to dump the Stations and find a couple of new homes!

So Saturday and Sunday night we will be double booked and have 2 passes to both the Flamingo hoops on the strip party ( remember that lil sis? Got my own offer this time and wont need your wrist band). I also get 2 wristbands for the Rampart "March Madnees Bash" ( no 1 knows anything about this event on any boards). Free eats and drinks for the weekend at 2 places. Maybe Fredo or my brother in law Darryl can usethe other 2 ( depending on which 1 has better eats)!!!

T- 20 days till Vegas!

I'm going to be in town from Monday, the 17th through the first couple of days of the tournament, leaving on the redeye Friday night. I'd be up for a small meet as well. Will be staying downtown, but have a car.

Looking forward to March Madness - it's been on my bucket list for awhile. Wish I could stay through the whole weekend.
