FYI Eastside Cannery

Stayed a couple of nights here recently and would like to review.

Checkin was quick and easy. since I was solo I didn't shoot for any upgrades. Room was close to elevators and ice/vending. Room was nice with good space. A half wall with marble top separated the room from the vanity area and held the ice bucket. Nice to have it somewhere other than the bathroom! The room also included a fridge, which was nice.

I ended up gambling more than usual since I was a bit under the weather and didn't feel like golf. Suprisingly, the increased VP time didn't raid my pockets badly and that's without any big hits. Food and drink service were better than average, so no complaints there. They also gave me daily coupons for coffee, a Danish and newspaper. Not sure if this is standard, but it was a nice extra.

Valet was quick and checkout was smooth. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here on a similar comp last month. Very surprised at how nice the room was. We gamble at Eastside a lot and like the good variety of machines. Very nice people throughout the staff especially at the tables. This casino is very loose with comps and also has a good deal of promotions on a daily basis.
Only mild complaint would be the buffet. Very bland food offerings. Needs a little spicing up in variety and quality. The café on the other hand is quite good with my favorite the homemade Salisbury steak.
Overall, a very good casino that we feel is worth traveling the extra distance to for our gambling dollar.

Glad to hear about your good experience. I liked Snaps myself. Unfortunately the only buffet meal I like is breakfast and they don't open until lunch. The deli also had good sandwiches.
