Gold coast in-room safes?

Does the GC have in-room safes? If not, they probably have safe deposit boxes for guests, right? This is our first time staying there and we bring several k in cash. I hate to carry that much in my pocket and I surely wouldn't leave it in the room. Thanks for your replys.

No in room safes at the GC--not sure about safe deposit boxes.

You could always put it in the cage and take a marker when you needed cash.

I have stayed in both the standard and premium rooms at the Gold Coast; neither has an in-room safe. They do have safety deposit boxes that you can use at the cashier's cage. They require a $100 deposit on the box, which is fully refunded when you check out. I had to sign several forms; asked the clerk if they needed a "note from my Mom", but the box was big enough to put my camera and cash in. Retrieving some of the contents was not a hassle, a little inconvenient vs a room safe, but better than leaving a $400 camera and a wad of cash in the room.

Glasses can affect your vision; especially when they have been emptied several times......
