lasvegasgambler - I've walked from the GC to the Rio through the parking garage many times. It's easy and much closer than going around. I don't understand your advising against it.
concur with linda 19,i always go thru the parking lot----loolk forward to finding out the reason to avoid---
i stay and play at the gold coast for the better video-poker games and go over to the rio to their diamond club and/or to use my comps for food accumalated in ac where caesar properties have some but not many full-pay 25c video-poker games------can not find any decent vp games at caesar properties in vegas or even laughlin---
Yes, I go through the parking lot like dukeofdarby said...but you can't go through the parking garage anymore (at least you couldn't last year. They had the exits on the east side by the staircases locked, so you couldn't get out if you walked through the garage. I found out the hard way a while ago.)
I was there the end of February and the exit on the Rio side of the parking garage was not locked. So far, I have cut through the garage without any difficulties. Hopefully, that can continue to be the case since it is the shortest way to walk to the Rio.
