I am booked for two free nights at Green Valley Resort. I know resort fees are waived for comped guests, but can I use their fitness center without paying the fee? How about the spa facilities?

My experience is exactly the opposite. In short, you don't have to pay the resort fee on a comped room at GVR (or any other Station property), but you also don't get what the resort fee covers.
Cpu;d be. this was 3 years ago and I used all facilities. just signed in with my room # at the spa and no one asked whether I paid the resort fee, it was assumed if I was a guest, I paid it.
I've used the spa for free with my comped rooms for years...and I haven't seen one posting here stating that the person was comped a room and was denied entry to the spa. (Chrest did not say she was denied entry, but it implies she ASSUMED she wasn't allowed entry). Stu
My experience has been that you get the spa facilities, newspapers & complimentary coffee in the morning, but not wireless. I was told that free wireless is included with resort fee but not on comped rooms even when the resort fee is comped.
I wish I had just gone to the spa last December, but no, I ASKED AT CHECK-IN, and the employee told me no, it was not included. When I go this December, I will just mosey down there on my own--better to ask forgiveness than permission. LOL
